We are seeking a dynamic and committed Science Teacher to join our energetic educational community in Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons across various scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, to students of different age groups and abilities. • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and inspires a love for scientific inquiry and discovery. • Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments. • Provide constructive feedback and support to students, helping them to enhance their understanding and confidence in science. • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and a passion for learning. • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, participate in professional development, and contribute to the overall success of the school. • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, field trips, and science fairs, to enrich the students’ educational experience. • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and the wider school community. Qualifications and Experience: • A degree in a Science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics). • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). • Proven experience teaching science at secondary school level is preferred. • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic and personal goals. • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
