The successful Science Technician will support the delivery of practical science lessons, assist in preparing experiments, and help maintain a safe and efficient working environment across the department. School Information This large 11–18 comprehensive school serves approximately 1,250 students and continues to deliver impressive academic outcomes, with 93% achieving grades 9–4 in English and Maths. The Science department is one of the school’s strongest faculties, achieving consistently high GCSE results and maintaining an active presence in STEM competitions and enrichment programmes. Facilities include six fully equipped laboratories, modern preparation rooms, and access to digital science resources. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teachers with practical demonstrations, equipment maintenance, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards (CLEAPSS, COSHH).
