The Snapshot • Location: Guildford (Excellent links via A3 and South Western Railway) • Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 (Surrey Pay Scale) • Contract: Full-time, Term-time only • Requirement: Degree in a Science subject or equivalent professional experience. Detailed Responsibilities • Advanced Practical Support: Setting up complex apparatus for A-Level Physics, including oscilloscopes and radioactive source handling (training provided). • Innovation: Working with teachers to trial new practical activities and suggesting improvements to existing experiments. • Liaison: Working with the IT and Site teams to ensure that data loggers and gas/water supplies in the labs are fully functional. • Training: Providing inductions for new teaching staff and ECTs on the use of departmental equipment and local safety protocols.
