These are fantastic opportunities to join welcoming schools with strong leadership, engaged pupils, and collaborative teaching environments. Successful candidates will begin in September 2026, giving teachers plenty of time to prepare for the new academic year and become part of their new school community. Schools are keen to identify the right candidates early and are arranging trial days and interviews as soon as possible. This allows both the teacher and the school to assess whether the role is the right fit before formal appointments are made. Due to the quality of these opportunities and schools' intentions to secure strong candidates early, interested applicants are encouraged to apply promptly. About the Role As a Secondary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and achievement. Key Responsibilities • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. • Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. • Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress. • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners. • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes to learning. • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers. • Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. • Contributing to the wider life of the school community. Previous secondary school teaching experience is essential. These positions are not suitable for candidates without classroom teaching experience in a UK secondary school setting. What We Offer • Competitive salary dependent on experience. • September 2026 start. • Opportunity to join well-respected Croydon secondary schools. • Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching teams. • Professional development and career progression opportunities. • Dedicated consultant support throughout the recruitment process. • Long-term and permanent opportunities available.
