The Role As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across KS1. • Support children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs and SEMH. • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support plans. • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. • Help create an engaging, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents. The Ideal Candidate • Has experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting. • Is patient, caring and enthusiastic. • Can build trusting relationships with young children. • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
