Supply Desk is currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for a teacher with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of additional learning needs. Applications are welcomed from qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced unqualified teachers who are committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential within a supportive and inclusive environment. About the Role As an SEN Teacher, you will: • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. • Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive. • Adapt teaching methods and learning resources to support a range of learning abilities and communication needs. • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents/carers and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback and celebrating achievements. • Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development, encouraging confidence, independence and resilience. • Contribute to the wider life of the school and work closely with colleagues to promote high-quality teaching and learning.
