Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a warm, welcoming SEN school in Burton that is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time maternity cover .

The Role
You'll be teaching pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
• Autism (ASC)
• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Communication and interaction needs
Working alongside experienced teaching assistants and a highly supportive leadership team, you'll deliver engaging, personalised learning that helps every child develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching children with SEND in either a mainstream or specialist setting
• Is patient, creative, and adaptable in their approach
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
• Is committed to providing inclusive, high-quality education
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
