About the Role As an ASC Teacher (Key Stages 3 & 4) , you'll teach pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional complex needs, delivering engaging, creative lessons that support both academic achievement and personal development. Working alongside experienced specialist colleagues, therapists and pastoral teams, you'll play a key role in helping pupils develop confidence, communication, independence and life skills within a nurturing, relationship-centred environment. This role includes full tutor responsibilities, pastoral care, monitoring individual progress, and maintaining positive communication with parents and carers. With class sizes of up to eight pupils , you'll have the opportunity to personalise learning, build trusting relationships and see the direct impact of your teaching every day. What You'll Be Doing • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 . • Teach pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) , Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional complex needs. • Differentiate learning to meet individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. • Build strong relationships that promote confidence, engagement and emotional wellbeing. • Monitor progress and celebrate individual achievements. • Undertake tutor responsibilities and provide pastoral support. • Work collaboratively with therapists, teaching assistants, safeguarding and pastoral teams. • Communicate effectively with parents, carers and external professionals. • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning. • About You We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate teacher who has: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent). • Experience teaching children or young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) , SEND , SEMH or additional learning needs. • A strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated learning. • Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills. • Driver is ideal • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching. • A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
