SEN Teacher Job – KS2 Resource Base | Full-Time | Birmingham Location: Northfield, Birmingham Job Title: SEN Teacher – KS2 Resource Base Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Until at least October Half Term, with the potential for extension Salary: Paid to scale Experienced SEN Teacher Required for KS2 Resource Base Zest Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established Key Stage 2 Resource Base, supporting a small group of pupils with additional needs in a nurturing and structured environment. The role is full-time and will run until at least October half term, with the possibility of continuing beyond this date for the right candidate. About the Role The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering tailored learning experiences to a class of 12 pupils within the school's Resource Base. You will work alongside two permanent Teaching Assistants, who provide consistent support and have a strong understanding of the pupils' individual needs. This collaborative approach allows staff to create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Key responsibilities will include: * Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual needs * Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning requirements * Working closely with support staff, parents and external agencies * Monitoring progress and adapting learning accordingly * Promoting pupil confidence, independence and wellbeing * Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment About the School The school is a well-regarded primary setting with a strong reputation for inclusive education and pupil support.
