SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Bury Start Date: September start We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Bury. The school are looking for someone with experience supporting students with SEN to work within their department alongside the SENCO. Responsibilities: • Supporting teachers across a range of subjects • Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, with SEND. • Monitor student progress and behaviour, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. • Engage in ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development throughout the academic year. Requirements: • Energetic, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential. • GCSES or equivalent in Maths and English • Reliable, punctual, and well-organised with a proactive approach. • Willing to learn and embrace new challenges with a positive attitude. • Previous experience supporting students with SEN About Our Client: Situated near the centre of Bury, our client school serves a diverse and vibrant community.
