SEN Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Creative Therapist A fantastic, inclusive Primary School in Chelmsford is searching for an SEN Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Creative Therapist to join their specialist ASD Provision from September 2026. This is the perfect opportunity for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Music Therapy, Dance Movement Psychotherapy, Drama Therapy, Art Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Child Mental Health. This SEN Teaching Assistant role will see you working within the school's dedicated Autism Provision, supporting pupils with a range of communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs. Through structured routines, creative activities and positive relationships, you will help pupils develop confidence, independence and the skills needed to access learning successfully. Working alongside experienced SEN Teachers, specialist support staff and external professionals, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience within a highly supportive environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys thinking creatively, is patient and resilient, and wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of children with additional needs.
