SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm Pay Rate: £14.25 - £16.68 per hour Contract Type: Full-Time Agency: Prospero Teaching SEN Teaching Assistant Required Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a range of supportive schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) reach their full potential. We are looking for enthusiastic and resilient individuals who can provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), communication difficulties, and learning disabilities. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Encourage social, emotional, and academic development
Support pupils with additional behavioural and emotional needs
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals The Ideal Candidate We are keen to hear from candidates who: Have previous experience working with children or young people
Have experience supporting individuals with SEN, SEMH, ASC, ADHD, or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential)
Are patient, empathetic, and adaptable
Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
Are passionate about making a difference in education
Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one What Prospero Teaching Offers Competitive hourly rates of £14.25 - £16.68 per hour
