Learning Hive is working in partnership with Essex County Council to provide high-quality one-to-one tuition for children and young people who need additional educational support. Every tutor is supported throughout each placement by our dedicated SEND Support Specialists, who are always on hand to offer guidance, advice and ongoing support. You'll support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs by adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs, helping them rebuild confidence and achieve their goals. Every student is different, and every session is an opportunity to make a lasting impact. What You'll Do • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition in English, Maths and Science • Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs • Build positive relationships that encourage confidence and engagement • Support students with SEND and SEMH needs • Monitor progress and provide clear session feedback • Help students overcome barriers to learning and celebrate their achievements We're Looking for Tutors Who • Have at least two years' tutoring or teaching experience • Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs • Are confident teaching English, Maths and Science across KS1–KS4 • Are patient, adaptable and passionate about helping young people succeed • Are able to build positive relationships with young people • Have good knowledge of safeguarding practices • Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to obtain one through our fast-track process • Have the right to work in the UK Safeguarding Learning Hive is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
