SEN Tutor – 1:1 Tuition Pay: £17.00–£24.00 per hour Location: Oxfordshire - Farringdon, Kiddington, Abingdon & Radley Working Hours: Flexible weekday tutoring between 9:00am and 4:00pm Contract Type: Self-employed / Freelance Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning? Every tutor is supported throughout their placement by our dedicated SEND Support Specialists, who are on hand to offer guidance, advice and ongoing support whenever you need it. You'll support children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs, adapting your teaching to meet each learner's individual needs and helping them rebuild confidence, make progress and achieve their goals. Every session is different, and every lesson has the potential to make a lasting impact. What You'll Do · Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition in English, Maths and Science · Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs · Build positive relationships that encourage confidence and engagement · Support students with SEND and SEMH needs · Monitor progress and provide clear session feedback · Help students overcome barriers to learning and celebrate their achievements We're looking for tutors who: · Have at least two years' tutoring or teaching experience · Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs · Are confident teaching English, Maths and Science across KS1–KS4 · Are patient, adaptable and passionate about helping young people succeed · Are able to build positive relationships with young people · Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to obtain one through our fast-track process · Have the right to work in the UK · Safeguarding Knowledge Learning Hive is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
