SEND Teacher
A specialist school in Redland, is looking for a SEND Teacher to start in September on a permanent contract. Pay rate ranges from M1 to UP3 plus SEN allowance.
This is a nurturing school that aims to provide their students with a safe and caring environment, ensuring each child feels able to make the most of each opportunity. The vast majority of needs of the students are speech, language and communication needs ranging from ages 3 to 11. This school celebrates each of their pupils, no matter big or small, through their broad range of learning resources and teaching methods.
They have a strong focus on making sure each of their students seize every opportunity and make the most of their time there. A successful SEND teacher at this school would be able to take different teaching approaches, ensuring the curriculum is presented the best way to each child. This school uses various other practices to make sure they are supported such as, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, sensory support and music therapy.

Role Requirements
• Educational Qualifications: BA Hons in special education, psychology or similar field
• Certification: Must hold a teaching qualification
• Ability to interact appropriately with autistic children
• Experience in behaviour management
• Ability to provide tailored educational strategies
• Possession of enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to complete one
