Job Title - SEMH Lecturer
Salary - £34,492 - £41,140 per annum
Location - Northamptonshire
Contract Type - Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an inspiring and resilient educator to deliver specialised foundation learning programmes to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Role Responsibilities
•
Deliver adapted and highly differentiated foundation courses and functional skills training to engage vulnerable learners.
•
Formulate and implement positive behavioural frameworks alongside trauma-informed strategies to assist students with emotional dysregulation.
•
Collaborate extensively with internal pastoral, safeguarding, and special educational support teams to implement designated intervention plans.
•
Oversee standardisation, quality assurance, and internal verification checks to measure the educational impact of specialized provisions.
Essential Requirements
•
Holder of, or actively working toward, a recognized post-compulsory teaching credential such as a Certificate in Education or equivalent.
•
Verified proficiency in core areas including a minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Mathematics.
•
Proven track record of managing classrooms and supporting post-16 learners exhibiting complex behavioural challenges.
•
Outstanding interpersonal and time-management skills with a flexible approach to accommodating occasional out-of-hours events.
•
Securement of an Enhanced DBS check coupled with a profound commitment to child protection and safety standards. Desired but not essential: Possession of a degree-level qualification or equivalent.
