We are working with a fantastic primary school in BS4 that is looking for someone with a sports coaching background to join their team as a Teaching Assistant on a full time, long term basis. The Role: - Full time Teaching Assistant - Starting September, with opportunities to start now - Long term position with the potential to continue - Supporting teaching and learning across the school - Leading active learning, outdoor activities and PE sessions where appropriate - Working with small groups and 1-1 where needed - Bringing energy, enthusiasm and a sporty approach to the classroom - Helping to create a positive, active and inclusive learning environment - Supporting children with behaviour, confidence and teamwork skills - Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team About You: - Experience coaching children in any sport or physical activity - Background in football coaching, rugby coaching, swimming instruction, gymnastics, athletics or similar - A qualification in Sports Coaching, Sports Science, Physical Education or a related field would be beneficial but is not essential - Passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing - Confident, energetic and able to build positive relationships with pupils - Able to motivate and engage children through active, hands on learning - Reliable, positive and committed to making a difference - A team player who enjoys working collaboratively Pay and Benefits: - Competitive pay (weekly) - Long term, consistent placement in one setting - Paid via PAYE (no umbrella company fees) Perks of Working Through Teaching Personnel: - A dedicated consultant who knows the Bristol schools and will support you throughout - Access to regular CPD and training opportunities - Simple, straightforward registration process - Opportunities for long term and permanent roles as well as day to day supply - Referral bonus scheme for recommending other educators If you are a sports coach looking for a rewarding full time role in a lovely Bristol primary school, we would love to hear from you.
