Sports Coach - SEND School Opportunities | Coventry Are you a Sports Coach looking for a new challenge and a rewarding career change? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coaches to work within SEND secondary schools across Coventry, supporting young people with additional needs to achieve their full potential. Your experience as a coach has equipped you with valuable skills that can make a real difference in the classroom. Through sport and physical activity, you can help students develop confidence, resilience, communication skills, teamwork, and self-esteem, creating positive learning experiences that extend far beyond the sports field. Working within an SEND environment, you will support students with a range of additional needs, including some who are non-verbal. Finding alternative ways to communicate can be challenging, making patience, creativity, empathy, and a nurturing approach essential. The ability to build strong, trusting relationships is key to helping students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. The schools are looking for proactive individuals who thrive as part of a team and are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role where personal and social development is at the heart of everything they do.
