Supply Teacher Location: Market Harborough Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Salary Scale: £140-£180 per day (Depending on experience) GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join one of our client schools in Market Harborough . This role offers a flexible opportunity for educators to work across various key stages. Whether you are a newly qualified teacher looking for experience or an experienced educator seeking variety, this position provides the chance to deliver engaging lessons while fostering a positive learning environment. As a Supply Teacher , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting students in their learning journey. The role requires a dynamic approach to teaching and the ability to engage students of varying abilities. Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher : • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning atmosphere. • Adapt teaching methods to cater to the needs of students across different age groups and abilities. • Provide feedback to students and contribute to their academic progress. • Collaborate with school staff to maintain a cohesive educational experience. Qualifications for a Supply Teacher : • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum. • Previous classroom experience is preferred but not essential. • A current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one. • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
