The Role As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher and wider school team. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting the whole class during lessons and activities. • Working 1:1 with pupils when additional support is needed. • Delivering small-group intervention work to help pupils make progress. • Supporting pupils with confidence, independence and engagement. • Helping prepare classroom resources and learning materials. • Encouraging positive behaviour and participation. • Working closely with teachers to support pupil outcomes. • Contributing to a calm, focused and inclusive classroom environment. Requirements The successful candidate will have: • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar school-based role. • Confidence supporting pupils across KS2. • A competent, proactive and reliable approach. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • The ability to support whole-class, 1:1 and intervention work. • Good literacy and numeracy skills. • A positive attitude and genuine interest in supporting childrens learning. • The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
