Although the pupils are in Year 6, their academic attainment is currently around Year 1 level. The successful candidate will support them in developing key literacy, numeracy, communication, and independence skills to maximise their progress. Key Responsibilities • Provide focused support for two pupils in a 1:2 capacity. • Deliver learning activities adapted to individual ability levels. • Support the development of basic literacy and numeracy skills. • Build pupils' confidence, engagement, and independence. • Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and intervention staff. • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records. • Assist with classroom integration while adapting work to meet individual needs. • Encourage positive behaviour and learning attitudes.
