Vision for Education is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to work within supportive primary schools across Walsall, starting September 2026 after the summer break. Location: Walsall Start Date: September 2026 Salary: £92 to £100 per day. About the role • Working alongside experienced teachers to help pupils stay engaged, confident, and motivated in the classroom. • Responsibilities will include supporting learning activities, guiding individuals or small groups, and helping maintain a calm and productive learning space. • This opportunity suits someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact on their academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development. Requirements To apply for this Teaching Assistant role in Walsall, you should have: • Previous experience supporting pupils in a primary school or educational setting, or a relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant. • A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development. • Have or be able to obtain a DBS Certificate registered to the update service. • Be able to gain at least two relevant references covering the last 2 years. • Confidence assisting with individual and small-group learning activities, including supporting different learning needs.
