KS2 Teaching Assistant – Exeter | September Start Join Local Primary Schools This September Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Exeter and the surrounding areas from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy supporting children in Years 3–6, helping them build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential. Role Details Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant Location: Exeter and surrounding areas Start Date: September Pay: Competitive weekly pay (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Contract: Flexible supply, short-term, long-term, full-time and part-time opportunities available Term Time Only What You'll Be Doing • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inspiring KS2 lessons. • Working with pupils in Years 3–6 on a 1:1 basis or in small intervention groups. • Helping children develop confidence in literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas. • Supporting pupils to prepare for end-of-key-stage assessments where appropriate. • Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child can succeed. We Are Looking For Candidates Who: • Have experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable). • Have experience supporting primary-aged pupils, particularly within KS2 (desirable). • Are passionate about helping children achieve their potential. • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). • Are reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
