Teaching Assistant

We’re recruiting: Teaching Assistants (General & SEN) – Evesham Reed Education are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive schools in Evesham to recruit Teaching Assistants for both general classroom support and SEN (Special Educational Needs) roles . These positions offer a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom, whether supporting teachers with whole-class learning or working closely with pupils who require additional support. The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Responsibilities may include: • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities • Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils, including those with SEN • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning • Supporting pupils with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment • Monitoring and recording pupil progress where required What We’re Looking For: • Previous experience working with children (school-based or similar) • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • A genuine passion for supporting children’s development • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Desirable: • Experience supporting pupils with SEN • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 TA) • Knowledge of safeguarding and school environments What’s on Offer: • Opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles • Positions available in a range of local Evesham schools • Supportive and friendly working environments • Ongoing support from Reed Education • Potential for long-term or permanent opportunities Safeguarding: Reed Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
