Year 5 Teacher

Zest Education are looking for a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Kingstanding. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the chance to inspire pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2 and prepare for the challenges of Year 6. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners • Support pupils in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills • Create a positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and respect • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events Candidate Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements • Excellent communication and organisational skills • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners If you are interested in this position or want to find out more, ‘apply for job’ at the top of the page to submit your details. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
