Person Specification The successful candidate will have: * Essential * Previous experience working as an Attendance Officer, Medical Officer, or similar role within a school. * A current First Aid at Work or Paediatric First Aid qualification. * Experience managing attendance procedures and medical records. * Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Strong IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office. * Experience using school MIS systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or Scholar Pack. * Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations. * Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail. * Desirable * Attendance or safeguarding training. * Experience supporting pupils with medical conditions. * Knowledge of school attendance legislation and guidance.
