School profile This popular Reading school places literacy at the heart of its curriculum and values the role of the KS1 Teacher in building confident early readers and writers. Class sizes are manageable and resources are strong, enabling the KS1 Teacher to focus on high-quality interactions. The KS1 Teacher will work closely with phase leaders, inclusion staff and experienced TAs to deliver a creative and inclusive KS1 curriculum. KS1 Teacher Responsibilities The KS1 Teacher will lead systematic phonics, guided reading and structured writing sessions. The KS1 Teacher will develop practical maths lessons and targeted interventions and will use assessment to personalise learning. The KS1 Teacher will prepare resources prior to January 2026 and will be teaching from January 2026.
