    Mainstream SEN Teacher - Burnley Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale | ECTs & Experienced Teachers Welcome Veritas Education is exclusively recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Burnley for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their dedicated Special Educational Needs Hub. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers with a specialism or strong interest in Special Educational Needs. The Role • Teach a small class of 5-9 pupils within the school's SEN Hub. • Support pupils with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs . • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. • Lead and manage a team of two Special Support Assistants , ensuring the best possible outcomes for pupils. • Work collaboratively with the wider school team, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development. The Ideal Candidate • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • A passion for Special Educational Needs and inclusive education. • Excellent communication and classroom management skills. • Ability to inspire, nurture and motivate pupils with a range of needs. • Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential. Salary Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS) - dependent on experience. Interested?
