The Role Working alongside teachers and a wider multidisciplinary team, you'll provide tailored support that encourages engagement, independence and personal development. • Providing one-to-one and small-group classroom support. • Assisting with personalised learning programmes. • Encouraging positive communication and social interaction. • Supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. • Implementing behaviour support strategies consistently. • Preparing learning resources and adapting classroom activities. • Monitoring pupil engagement and contributing to progress records. • Promoting a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment. • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families where appropriate.
