SEN Art Teacher Camden Immediate StartThis specialist SEND school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking a creative and passionate SEN Art Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. Supporting secondary-aged pupils with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and associated communication needs, the school provides a highly inclusive learning environment where creativity is used to develop confidence, communication and independence. The successful SEN Art Teacher will use creative learning to promote communication, self-expression and emotional wellbeing, while helping pupils develop confidence both inside and outside the classroom. SEN Art Teacher What the School is Looking For The ideal SEN Art Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Art at secondary level. Previous experience within a SEND school, specialist provision or inclusive mainstream setting would be highly advantageous, although mainstream teachers with a genuine passion for SEND are encouraged to apply. The school is looking for a patient, creative and adaptable practitioner who can build strong relationships and inspire pupils to achieve their potential.
