We seek to appoint a Permanent Senior Attendance Officer - Family Outreach Worker to join the Pastoral support team at George Pindar School. George Pindar School is an 11-16 secondary school situated in Scarborough. The core focus of this job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the schools Attendance Policy and improving the attendance of students. The post holder will work with identified students and their parents / carers whose attendance is a barrier to their performance. From monitoring attendance and conducting home visits, to developing targeted support strategies, you'll play a key role in promoting a culture where attendance matters.
