The successful candidate will teach GCSE and A-Level Business (small class sizes) and contribute to a successful and growing Sixth Form. The Role – What You’ll Do • Teach high-quality Business lessons at KS4–KS5. • Use assessment and feedback to drive progress and attainment. • Enrich the curriculum through enterprise activities, guest speakers, and competitions. • Support curriculum planning, exam preparation, and shared resources. • Promote high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement. • Contribute positively to the wider school community and Sixth Form life. Person Specification Essential • Degree in Business or a related subject. • QTS/PGCE (or equivalent). • Strong subject knowledge across core Business topics. • Evidence of effective classroom practice. • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing. Desirable • Experience with AQA or Edexcel specifications. • Evidence of strong exam outcomes. • Experience supporting enrichment or enterprise activities. • Ability to contribute to Economics is desirable but not essential.
