CORE PURPOSE We require an ambitious, intellectually rigorous Business Teacher to deliver high-quality business studies, economics, and enterprise instruction across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The role involves facilitating a challenging, case-study-driven academic curriculum that deepens analytical reasoning, financial literacy, and strategic thinking, preparing pupils thoroughly for terminal public examinations and future commercial pathways. KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS • Curriculum Design & Instruction: Plan, resource, and deliver highly structured, evidence-based business lessons that challenge pupils across all technical and academic abilities. • Real-World Case Study Analysis: Teach complex corporate strategies, marketing mix theories, and financial accounting methods by decoding real-world market scenarios and contemporary economic trends. • Academic Progress Monitoring: Implement rigorous formative and summative assessment routines, utilising pupil tracking data to design sharp, targeted interventions that bridge learning gaps. • Examination Preparation: Guide exam cohorts systematically through the technical demands of GCSE Business, BTEC Enterprise, and A-Level Business Studies specifications, maximising outcomes for all learners. • Pastoral Care Integration: Undertake full form tutor responsibilities, managing daily registration, monitoring pupil attendance, and delivering the school's structured personal development units.
