Primary School Caretaker Location: Llanelli, Carmarthenshire Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible) Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) About the Role We are looking for a reliable, organised, and hardworking Caretaker to maintain our premises to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping buildings and grounds clean, safe, and well maintained. Key Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of buildings and surrounding grounds. Carry out routine inspections and report maintenance issues. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs where appropriate. Open and secure the premises as required. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Manage waste disposal and recycling. Keep storage areas clean, organised, and well stocked. Liaise with contractors and report any urgent repairs. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. What We're Looking For Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage your workload. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in property maintenance, caretaking, cleaning, or facilities management is desirable.
