Job description

Experience of governance, compliance, clerking, business support or administration within a professional environment. Understanding of governance, compliance or formal meeting procedures. Experience of preparing agendas, producing accurate minutes and maintaining action trackers. Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Ability to provide professional governance and procedural support to a wide range of stakeholders. Experience maintaining records, registers, databases or compliance systems. Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and online governance platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality. Experience supporting complaints, hearings, FOI requests, Subject Access Requests or other formal processes is desirable. Experience working within education, public sector, charity or other regulated environments is desirable. Knowledge of academy trust or school governance is desirable. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust. Willingness to attend evening meetings and travel across Trust schools as required.
