Cover Supervisor

Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day work or a longer-term placement, there are opportunities available to suit your availability and career goals. What is a Cover Supervisor? As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, supervising students aged 11-16 and delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects. You won't be expected to plan lessons, but you will play a vital role in keeping students engaged, on task, and working in a structured learning environment. This role offers invaluable classroom experience, helping you build confidence in behaviour management and develop a strong understanding of school life-making it an ideal stepping stone into teacher training such as a PGCE.
