Cover Supervisor - Primary School (Full-Time) Location: Desford area, Leicestershire (LE9) Start Date: ASAP (Summer Term) Contract: Full-time, term-time only Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Monarch Education are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Desford (LE9) area of Leicestershire to recruit a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for an immediate start. The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring that pupils remain on task and engaged with the work set. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and upholding the school's high standards of behaviour. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 during teacher absence • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure pupils stay on task • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies • Support pupils with their learning where required • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Previous experience working in a school setting (TA, HLTA or Cover Supervisor) • Strong behaviour management skills and confidence leading a classroom • Excellent communication and organisational skills • A proactive and adaptable approach • A passion for working with children and supporting their development This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain further classroom experience or take the next step in their education career within a welcoming and supportive school environment.
