About the role

A fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive specialist setting in Yeovil, Somerset. This school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong staff teamwork and commitment to helping every pupil succeed. You will support students aged 5 to 16 , working at KS1 and KS2 learning levels , with additional Special Educational Needs (SEN) including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties and social, emotional and behavioural needs. Secondary phase work is also available , offering variety and progression. Role & Responsibilities • Deliver pre-planned lessons across the classroom • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups • Adapt learning to meet individual SEN needs • Manage behaviour positively and consistently • Encourage engagement, confidence and independence • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff Working Hours & Pay • Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm • Daily pay: £100 to £120 • Ongoing, long-term opportunity What We’re Looking For • Minimum 6 months childcare experience (essential) • Experience supporting children with SEN • Confident leading a classroom and covering lessons • Patient, resilient and adaptable approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Work with Teaching Personnel? • Competitive daily pay and weekly wages • Access to free CPD and specialist SEN training • Dedicated consultant guidance throughout your role • Opportunities for long-term and permanent positions • Experience across both primary and secondary SEN settings This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional learning, behavioural and communication needs , helping them access education in a structured, encouraging and rewarding environment.
