About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will be: * Supervising classes during the short‑term absence of teaching staff. * Delivering pre‑prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain engaged and on task. * Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment. * Supporting pupils in line with school policies and expectations. * Working closely with teaching and support staff to ensure continuity of learning. What We’re Looking For * Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom‑based role. * Confidence managing groups of secondary‑aged students. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * A positive attitude and professional approach to working in education. * Hold (or be willing to apply for) a valid DBS on the Update Service. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
