We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of welcoming secondary schools across Redbridge . ⭐ MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A COVER SUPERVISOR IN A UK SECONDARY SCHOOL OR HAVE SIGNIFICANT CLASSROOM-BASED EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING SECONDARY-AGED STUDENTS. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: • Supervise classes of students aged 11–16 and 11–18 during the short-term absence of their teacher. • Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain focused and engaged. • Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's behaviour policy. • Support students in completing set work and maintaining a positive learning environment. • Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress and student behaviour. The Ideal Candidate Will: • Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a UK secondary school or substantial classroom experience with secondary-aged students (essential). • Be confident managing groups of secondary-aged students. • Have excellent communication and classroom management skills. • Be adaptable, organised, and professional. • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
