Job description

St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor. This full time, permanent role on a term time plus inset basis (39 weeks) and will be based at St Augustine’s Catholic High School. The Cover Supervisor will: Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes, it may also involve progress and monitoring students and assessing, recording and reporting on students’ achievement, progress and development. Be responsible for students’ learning and behaviour in those circumstances where a teacher is not available to teach a class or where a group of students need special supervision.
