A well-established nursery located in Shrewsbury with beautiful surroundings have a vacancy for a Deputy Nursery Manager. The nursery is committed to excellence, providing the best possible care and education to children. They looking for a like-minded Deputy Nursery Manager who demonstrates attributes such as kindness, patience and a genuine love of children
In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Nursery Manager to lead a talented team of educators. You will help shape their curriculum, support their wonderful families, and lead by example every day.

What You Will Do: * Lead the Team: Inspire, mentor, and support room leaders and staff. * Run Operations: Step up to run the nursery when the Manager is away. * Deliver Excellence: Ensure high-quality care and learning through the EYFS framework. * Keep Children Safe: Maintain strict health, safety, and safeguarding standards. * Partner with Parents: Build strong, trusting relationships with their families.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday upto 40 hours per week, 51 weeks of the year (closed on bank holidays and 1 week at Christmas)
What You Will Need * Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years (or higher). * Experience: At least 2 years of experience leading a team (like a Room Leader). * Framework Knowledge: A deep understanding of EYFS and Ofsted standards. * Key Certifications: A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is preferred. * Safety Checks: A clean, enhanced DBS check (we can help arrange this).
