Design and Technology Teacher

A dynamic secondary school in Hounslow is searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join our vibrant school community. This is a permanent, full-time position starting this September! The Role: • Design and deliver engaging food technology lessons that ignite a love for cooking and healthy eating in students of all abilities. • Equip students with practical culinary skills, from chopping vegetables to baking cakes. • Foster an understanding of food science, nutrition, and healthy meal planning. • Contribute to the school's vibrant food technology program, including extracurricular activities and school food events. • Maintain a positive and well-managed kitchen environment with excellent communication skills. You're a Perfect Fit If: • You hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a relevant Design & Technology specialism. • You have a proven track record of success in teaching food technology to a variety of age groups. • You possess a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Design & Technology (Food). • A passion for food education with innovative teaching methods defines you. • You're an excellent communicator with a positive and enthusiastic spirit.
