About the role

Early years Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator - Leytonstone Full time - 40 hours Salary from £26 to £29k Benefits include • one ‘well-being’ day granted each year (not included In their annual leave entitlement), • Health Assured package that our staff have access to 24/7 to support with any needs they may have such as therapy, financial support, health. • Treats are often provided for the staff to snack on during their break such as biscuits, fruit, crips, juice, water, chocolates etc. • Staff events Job Description: First and foremost, you must be fun, willing to dress up as superheroes, princesses and dragons, be a hospital patient in bandages, be a café customer drinking endless cups of make believe tea, be covered in paint, gloop and other nominated substances with a cheerful smile, laughter and good humour all the while adding to the children’s learning experiences with positive language and interactions. You must be an outstanding nursery practitioner providing an example of excellent childcare practice, conduct and professionalism at all times. You must demonstrate and commit to having a thorough understanding of the nursery policies and procedures relevant to your role with additional emphasis on your knowledge and understanding of the nursery safeguarding policy. As a nursery practitioner, you are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the children in your care under the guidance of your room leader. The children’s needs must always be your first consideration and your highest priority must be to provide a safe, secure, caring and stimulating environment. This must be done within the framework of the EYFS and you must ensure that you meet the developmental needs of each individual child.
