One Sixth Form, Ipswich 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - Permanent Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) Actual Salary: £21,387 - £22,069 per annum We are seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Engineering Technician to support our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on experience within the motor or engineering sector, demonstrating a solid understanding of vehicle systems and workshop practices. Your technical knowledge will play a key role in supporting students and staff in a busy, well-equipped environment. The role also requires adaptability to meet curriculum needs, including assisting during practical sessions, preparing materials, and maintaining equipment to ensure the highest standards of learning and safety. The successful candidate will be well-organised, reliable, and demonstrate a full appreciation of health and safety protocols. You will be required to undertake essential training including first aid, safeguarding, and fire safety. A proactive attitude and willingness to support a flexible and evolving curriculum are essential.
