Location: Sarah Bonnell School & Newham Community Trust Office Report to: Head of School and Director of Education Salary: P03 - Full time - £45,750 - £49,056 Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to join our Sarah Bonnell and Trust team. Are you an exceptional organiser and communicator, looking to make a real impact in an inspiring educational environment? You will play a pivotal part in the smooth running of our school and trust, providing high-level executive support, managing the diaries of the Head of School and Director of Education, preparing confidential reports and correspondence, and acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders. You will coordinate events, oversee administrative functions, and ensure all communications reflect our commitment to excellence and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive executive support and effective diary management for The Head of School and Director of Education Act as a key point of contact, managing communications with internal and external stakeholders Prepare reports, agendas, presentations, and confidential correspondence to a high professional standard Organise and take minutes for meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution Support the management of complaints, compliance, and operational matters, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times Coordinate school events and stakeholder engagement activities Manage highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity Support and contribute to safeguarding processes, demonstrating awareness of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance Assist with project coordination and manage competing priorities to ensure smooth daily operations Ensure effective communication and collaboration across the school and trust, modelling professionalism at all times Develop and maintain effective systems for monitoring and reporting relevant school data Flexibility You will be required to work at any of the Trust’s sites, including all schools and the central office, as directed. The role involves travel between locations, and you are expected to attend any Trust site as required to meet operational needs. Flexibility in relation to location and working arrangements is an essential requirement of the role.
