Food Technology Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Food Technology Technician to support our busy Food Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a practical environment and is passionate about supporting high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be required to support the teaching of Food and Textiles sessions across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will provide day to day technical support, develop and prepare associated equipment, ingredients, facilities and materials for use by the teacher and students whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment. Previous experience of working in a school and possession of a current Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous but are not essential as full training will be given.
