Learning Support Assistant A specialist school in Bath is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP until the end of the academic year on a fixed term contract. Pay rate is £104 - £115 per day. This is a school that believes in using a holistic approach to learning and works closely with multi-agency professionals to ensure that every child has access to achieve their potential. The needs of the students include learning disabilities, visual impairment, speech, language and communication, autism, and physical disability, ranging from ages 4-19. The school curriculum blends a full range of academic and vocational subjects with various therapies for the students. The leadership team has a strong focus on recruiting staff with the right skills and experience to help their students prepare for the next stage of their life after school. Lessons are adapted to help students in both education and the community. A positive attitude paired with a caring outlook would be key in enabling students to make the most out of their time with us. A good LSA at this college would be able to have an empathetic nature, combined with a resilience to understand various behaviours.
