The school is currently finalising internal staffing arrangements, so the successful candidate will be placed within the most suitable class before the start of term.The role will involve:Providing consistent 1:1 support to help a pupil access learning.Building a positive, trusting relationship with the child.Supporting both academic progress and social development.Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies.Encouraging independence while maintaining a calm, patient approach.We are looking for someone who:Has previous experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting.Is patient, resilient and adaptable.Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.Can commit to a full-time, ongoing position.Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to a child's education, we'd love to hear from you.
