About the role

We are pleased to invite enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to attend our Recruitment Event for the role of Learning Support Assistant , starting this September. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about the role, meet the team, and demonstrate your skills and suitability. Role Overview Position: Learning Support Assistant Pay Rate: £16.84 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay), paid weekly Hours: 08:30 – 16:30 (approx. 7 hours per day) Working Pattern: Minimum of 4 days per week Start Date: September (confirmed after onboarding) Location: Kingston Upon-Thames Mandatory Training To be eligible for this role, you must complete: Team Teach – 2 Days Dates to be confirmed This training will be fully funded by Reed . Key Responsibilities As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: • Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups • Assist learners with integration into classroom and workplace settings • Work collaboratively with Course Tutors and staff to support student development • Complete termly reviews and maintain accurate progress records • Administer medication (following training and procedures) • Supervise students during breaks and lunch times What to Expect at the Recruitment Event Event dates: To Be Confirmed The recruitment event will include: Presentation College managers will provide an overview of the Learning Support Assistant role and daily expectations. Group Interview You will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, discuss your experience, and demonstrate your knowledge of supporting young people and safeguarding. Written Task You will complete a short written exercise on the day. The task will be provided beforehand for preparation (optional). Meet the Reed Team Ask us any questions about registration, payroll, start dates, or the onboarding process. After the Event If you are successful, a Reed consultant will contact you within a few days.
